Grenzen Stellen B.V. — Assertiveness Training for Real Change
We’re dedicated to helping people in the Netherlands develop assertiveness skills and establish healthy boundaries. Real training. Practical tools. Lasting results.
How Grenzen Stellen B.V. Started
We didn’t start with a business plan. We started with a problem we saw everywhere.
The Beginning
Back in 2016, our founders noticed something troubling. People struggled to speak up for themselves. They’d accept disrespect, say yes when they meant no, and shrink themselves to keep others comfortable. It wasn’t about confidence — it was about knowing how.
Finding the Solution
We spent two years researching, training with international experts, and developing a methodology that actually works. Not theory. Not generic self-help. A practical system you can use tomorrow in real conversations at work, home, and everywhere else.
Why We’re Here
Grenzen Stellen B.V. exists because boundary setting and self-advocacy shouldn’t be mysterious. You’re not broken if you struggle with this. You’ve just never been taught. We’re here to change that.
Today
We’ve trained over 500 people across the Netherlands. From professionals navigating workplace dynamics to parents reclaiming their voice — our participants see real shifts in how they communicate and set boundaries.
Assertiveness Training That Works
Our approach combines behavioral psychology, practical communication techniques, and real-world scenarios. You’ll learn assertiveness skills you can actually use.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Whether you’re struggling with boundary setting in relationships, advocating for yourself at work, or simply finding your voice — we’ve got specific training for that. Our modules cover communication patterns, saying no without guilt, managing difficult conversations, and building confidence through practice.
How We Train
A structured approach that builds skills step by step, not overwhelming you with everything at once.
Assessment & Goal Setting
We start by understanding where you are now. What situations trigger difficulty? Where do you want to see change? Your goals drive everything that follows.
Foundation Building
You’ll learn the psychology behind assertiveness, why boundary setting matters, and what patterns might be holding you back. Knowledge comes first — skills follow.
Skill Development
We teach specific techniques for difficult conversations, saying no, advocating for yourself, and managing pushback. You’ll practice these in a safe environment before using them in real life.
Real-World Application
The final step is where transformation happens. You’ll implement these assertiveness skills in actual situations, with support and feedback as you go.
What We Believe In
Safety First
Assertiveness training shouldn’t feel aggressive or unsafe. We create an environment where you’re comfortable being vulnerable and practicing new skills.
Practical, Not Theory
We don’t lecture about communication theory. You’ll get tools you can use today, scenarios you’ll actually face, and techniques that work in the real world.
Respect & Dignity
Assertiveness isn’t about dominating others. It’s about respecting yourself while respecting others. Balance is everything.
Tailored Learning
Everyone’s situation is different. Your workplace challenges aren’t your family dynamics. We adapt our training to your specific needs and context.
Ongoing Support
Assertiveness is a skill that develops over time. We’re here to support you beyond the training, answering questions and helping you navigate real situations.
Measurable Progress
You’ll track your progress. Not just how you feel, but specific situations where you’ve successfully set boundaries or advocated for yourself.
What Participants Tell Us
“I couldn’t say no at work without feeling guilty. After the training, I had a conversation with my manager about my workload. Still nervous, but I actually did it. And you know what? It went fine. That wouldn’t have happened before.”
— Erik, 34
